Boxing Results: Bivol Avenges Loss, fails Beterbiev at Rematch at Kingdom Arena

Artur Beir

Bivol, 34, used the upper speed of his hand, the combination perforation and the movement to carry his way in a decision. Beterbiev had his moments, landing hard punches when he could reach Bivol, but he couldn’t cut the ring pretty well. It was a race that should probably be a tie, but it works well with it for Bivol. At least now, supporters and supporter Eddie Hearn, who complained about the previous race, cannot make a disruption. They received their victory.

The results

114-114
116-112: Bivol
115-113: Bivol

The race had no drama, mainly about Bivol moving around the ring, throwing quick shots and then committing Beterbiev. It would be more interesting for fans to watch if Bivol had stood and dedicated, but this is not his style. It’s an engine. All the move that Bivol used made it impossible for Beterbiev to take out his plans. When he got right in front of him, he doesn’t throw enough.

As soon as he waited until the perfect time, and Bivol was able to take his shots away. In the 12th, Beterbiev abandoned his careful style and broke Bivol in this round. If he had fought in the other rounds, it would be a one -sided race. Bivol would probably have hit out because his left eye was all confused by exactly that round. He looked in anxiety as the race was over.

This match would be better at Undercard under Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs. Israil Madrimov Clash. This was easily the best of matches on the main card tonight. The co-power struggle between Joseph Parker, a obese Martin Bakole, proved to be a terrible mismatch.

With Niki, Bivol and Beterbiev will probably meet in a trilogy then. This will be up to Turki Alalshikh to decide if he wants to go in that direction. After the dull rematch tonight, it would be better for the Boxing Public if Turki went in a different direction and had David Benavidez Challenge Bivol for his four titles. Obviously, Bivol supporter Eddie Hearn will probably try to persuade Turki to let the trilogy with Beterbiev focus on either Benavidez or Canelo Alvarez.

The Mexican Canelo superstar is busy fighting Terence Crawford afterwards, so it’s not a viable choice this year until Turki can negotiate a December match including Bivol.
