Manchester United controls the game, “says Amorim

Manager of Manchester United Ruben Amorim says his side had control of the Premier League 3-2 win in the city of Ipswich-despite the fact that he fell early and having a man who was sent.

United was recovered from watching a misleading opening target to lead 2-1 to Old Trafford before Patrick Dorgu was disclosed and Ipswich was balanced shortly before halftime at Old Trafford Rain.

Visitors had a full half to make their numerical advantage count, but United dug to remove the Premier League relegation zone thanks to Harry Maguire’s header.

“Today, I’m not disappointed,” Amorim told reporters. “We checked the game and from the first minute I felt that the players were trying to play and we managed to score two goals.

“The mission changed the game a little, but the race shown by fans helped a lot and deserved the three points.

“There are a few moments that are really tough, but this is natural in every profession, you have to suffer. It’s really difficult for me to play as we did in the second half. I feel that players are sometimes more comfortable to play with a low block.”

Amorim was less pleased with how young Alejandro Garnacho handled himself to be replaced in order for United to get more defensive players on the pitch after Dorgu’s dismissal.

The Argentine headed straight under the tunnel, instead of joining his teammates on the bench.

“It was cold, humid and rainy,” Amorim added. “The thing was that we would play more at 5-3-1. Then we do a sub. We had to choose someone to come out.

“I had to think about the pieces, it was my choice. I’ll talk to Garnacho about it. You can ask me at the next press conference.”
