Preview, card and how to watch
There were three days of absorption of racing in the first three days of the Cheltenham Festival, which were high in drama and emotion.
But now it’s time for the heading of the act, the golden cup.
Nine runners will face 22 fences over three miles and two furlongs, as everyone is trying to draw their name in Cheltenham’s history, with the most successful festival trainer participating in a very exclusive club.

4.00 – Gold Cup
The 2025 version of the most famous jumping race in the world is likely to be extremely special for Mullins. Gallopin des Champs has won the last two gold cups for the Irish trainer and is the favorite 4-7 to become the first horse from the best partner in 2004 to win three in a row.
If he does, Mullins will take part in Tom Deaper as the second trainer to claim five Gold Cup wins. Banbridge (5-1) is regarded as the main threat, with trainer Joseph Patrick O’Brien looking for his first win in the Gold Cup.
Just the best! 🤩
