Now the OnePlus 13R is rumored to have a dedicated telephoto camera

The OnePlus 13R does It became official on January 7 during OnePlus 13‘s global launch and so far most rumors have speculated that it will be a rebrand OnePlus Ace 5launched in China a few days ago. This is primarily because OnePlus 12R was rebranded OnePlus Ace 3.

Specifically, the 13R is said to use a 50MP main camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-700 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. Selfies will be handled by the 16 MP shooter.

The Ace 5 has all the same cameras, except for the telephoto, which it replaces with a decorative 2 MP macro sensor. So, if this rumor pans out, the international OnePlus 13R will only be a step up from the Chinese Ace 5 in the camera department, while, as already mentioned, sacrificing some battery capacity for whatever reason.
