The possible marriage between the two made headlines across the country. However, the truth is far from all the buzz.
Amidst the ongoing story of events that unfolded on Friday (January 17), Priya’s father Storm Saro cleared the air and revealed the truth behind the reported engagement between Rinku and Priya.

Priya’s father revealed that Rinku’s family has proposed marriage, which is being seriously considered. Saroj said the proposal was discussed with his elder son-in-law Rinku, who currently holds the post of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Aligarh. However, neither Rinku nor Priya have officially confirmed these details so far.
Tufani Saroj is currently Member of Legislative Assembly in Uttar Pradesh from Kerakat constituency and has served as Member of Parliament from Saidpur and Machhlishahr constituency for three terms from 1999 to 2014.

Rinku Singh’s Cricket Career
Rinku first rose to prominence through his impressive performances in Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has been a key player for his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Singh is primarily a middle-order batsman, showing his ability to accelerate the innings in the death overs.
His standout moment came during the 2023 IPL season when he hit five consecutive sixes in a crucial match, earning him widespread recognition. Before making his IPL debut, Rinku represented UP in domestic cricket where he built a solid reputation with his performances in both List A and T20 formats.
His impressive performance in the IPL earned him a maiden call-up for India in August 2023 against Ireland in Dublin. The 27-year-old played his first ODI match in December that year against South Africa.
