Gemini gets multi-motion commands, Pixel and Astra on Galaxy S25

as part of Samsung Galaxy S25 at launch, Google announced the latest Android, Circle to Search and Gemini app features.

A request can contain more than one command, and Gemini will use different Extensions to perform actions. It is now available on Android, iOS and web. For example:

  • If you’re looking for an outdoor restaurant nearby and want to share the options with a friend, Gemini can connect to Google Maps to find the perfect spots and generate a text ready to send via Google Messages.
  • If you’re looking for a list of high-protein lunch ideas, you can ask Gemini for some recipes and then easily save them directly to Samsung Notes or Google Keep.

On Samsung devices, Gemini can now be launched by long pressing the side/power button. It brings a redesigned cover for instant voice input. In addition, the S25 has new Gemini Extensions for Samsung Calendar, Samsung Clock, Samsung Notes and Samsung Reminder.

Meanwhile, Gemini Live will let you add pictures, files, and YouTube videos to real-time chats. In particular, the overlay will display a “Talk about it live” bid chip for media. It’s rolling out to Pixel 9, Galaxy S25 and S24 starting today for “more multimodal, personal and contextual” Gemini Live. It’s coming to “more Android devices in the coming weeks.”

Meanwhile, Circle to Search’s AI-powered overview answers places, trending images, unique objects, and more. comes to visual searches for Circle to Search also gets one-click actions on URLs (open), email addresses (send), and phone numbers (when a call is identified).

On the Android front, Google Search will support the S25’s Now Bar to display sports scores and key match updates. Google Maps will show directions and time to leave notifications for meetings that take into account traffic conditions.

When you pair GN Hearing and Oticon Intent hearing aids with a Galaxy S25 running Android 15, you’ll get Bluetooth LE features like “hands-free calling, easy-to-use personalized audio settings and low-latency connectivity.”

TalkBack 15 on the Galaxy S25 is compatible with Braille displays that use HID, saving users from additional setup steps. Finally, on newer devices, TalkBack will use Gemini models for more detailed picture descriptions.
