A new iPad Air with an M3 chip is apparently coming

Last year Apple updated the iPad Air and for the first time we got two models – 11″ and 13″. They both use Apple’s M2 chipset, but the range is expected to be upgraded soon.
Legendary leaker Evan Blass has shared an image that suggests Apple is currently working on two new iPad Airs (with the same 11″ and 13″ screen sizes), which will be powered by the M3 chipset.
It’s still not the best of the lineup of chipsets that Apple has introduced, the M4. the latest iPad Probut it’s definitely a step up from the M2.

It’s unclear what other improvements, if any, the 2025 iPad Airs will have. It wouldn’t be unusual for Apple to release the same tablets as last year, only with a better chip. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know when we get more information.
