What is ANIME?

ANIME is described as a “culture coin” coming to the Ethereum and Arbitrum layer-2 network.

Launched by the AnimeCoin Foundation, ANIME has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, more than 50% of which will be given to the Web3 community, with its main partner, Azuki, a prominent NFT collection and crypto-national IP.

Almost 77% of the 10 billion token supply will open for trading immediately after launch.

When does ANIME drop?

An official date has not been announced, but ANIME is expected launched in January, According to the latest announcement of the AnimeCoin Foundation.

Who will receive the ANIME airdrop?

The ANIME token is distributed to the Web3 community over 5 billion or 50% of the total supply in six different buckets.

Azuki community

ANIME has the largest allocation, 37.5%, allocated to claim by the Azuki community.

As the main partner of ANIME, owners of all three important NFT collections – Azuki, Azuki Elementals and BEANZ Official – are expected to be eligible to claim the ANIME label.

Tokens are unlocked within three years, and unlocked tokens can be sold after a one-year gap.

Social cultivation

The second community tranche is for the “Community Cultivation” bucket, which is 1.3 billion ANIME tokens or 13% of the total supply.

The holders of ANIME tokens and participants of the latest AnimeDAO control this set of tokens. These participants can manage this 13% to fund community initiatives.

Although the initial distribution will be 1.3 billion ANIME tokens, this percentage may increase as long as we wait for unclaimed tokens from the Azuki ecosystem bucket.

Distribution of the company

An additional 7.44% was allocated to Azuki over a one-year term and a three-year term.

Partner communities
