Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 headphones are on sale for $180 via Amazon. This is the first serious discount of the year and represents a saving of 28 percent. It’s not a record-low, but it’s very close.
The AirPods Pro 2 headphones have made quite a name for themselves since their original launch in 2022. They easily made our list of the best wireless headphonesand with good reason. These are a marked improvement over the previous iteration in almost every way. The sound quality is fantastic and the headphones now feature active noise cancellation.

In our official magazine, we hide particular praise on the way of transparency. It looks so natural, especially when compared to some rival headphones out there. You can leave the AirPods on during a conversation in real life and you probably won’t even notice you’re wearing them. Other features include ultra-fast pairing with Apple devices, hands-free Siri and spatial audio.
A recent software update as well brought a reduction in wireless audio latencywhich should be great for mobile gaming. Another benefit for gamers? The voice quality is increased, thanks to 16-bit, 48kHz audio during live chats.
The main problem with these headphones is the price, which has been slightly alleviated by today’s sale. As a minor gripe, the touch gestures take some practice to get right, but it’s not a mystical science.
