Australia Hammer Sri Lanka as hosts suffer a record defeat at the first test of the series in Galle | Cricket news

A sovereign Australia completed the first test against Sri Lanka with a session and one day to be available, providing the guests their biggest defeat at the Test Cricket on Saturday at Galle.

Sri Lanka was removed for 247 in their second entries, succumbing to an Innings-and-242-Run Drubbing. The previous heavier defeat of their tests was an Innings-and-239 loss in India in Nagpur in 2017.
