Barcelona’s La Liga conflict with Osasuna has been postponed after the death of the first team, Carles Minarro Garcia.
The match was to start at 8pm (British time) at Estadi OlimPic Lluis Company, but the club revealed that the news about Garcia’s passing shortly before they started and confirmed that the game would not proceed.
According to the original reports in Spain, Minarro Garcia, 40, died at The Team Hotel in the lead until the race. He has worked in the club since 2017.

In a statement, the club said: “Barcelona is deeply sad to announce the passage of the first team of Carles Miñarro García this afternoon,” the club said in a statement.
“For this reason, the fight against Osasuna has been postponed and will be remodeled for a later date.
“The Barcelona Board of Directors and all staff expand our sincere condolences to the family and friends during this difficult period.”
Catalan Club opponents, Osasuna, also posted a message to the social media: “Osasuna wants to convey her deepest condolences to Dr. Carles Miñarro Garcia’s family and would like to send a warm hug to all FC Barcelona staff. resting peacefully. “
