Boxing Results: Junto Nakatani dominates David Cuellar in Bantamweight Defense, Bout Unification Eyes

Undefeated champion WBC Bantamweight Junto Nakatani (30-0, 23 Kos) did easy job previously undefeated candidate David Cuellar (28-1, 18 Kos), hit him in the third round Monday night in an easy defense at Ariake Arena, Koto-ku in Tokyo, Japan.
The stork 5’8 “Nakatani, 27, used his jab to adjust Cuellar with a big left hand that put him in the third round. Cuellar was too bad to get back to his feet and referee Michael Griffin stopped Competition.
Cuellar no match
There was not really much about the race, as Cuellar had very little power and rushed forward, throwing weak combinations. Nakatani pulled him out straight as he will charge forward. It was like turning around. It was no competition at all. Section 118-LB is quite weak at this point, so it is the best to be the best opposition for Nakatani to fight in terms of candidates.

With the victory, Nakatani will then focus on the fight against IBF Belt Ryosuke Nishida (10-0, 2 kos) in an integration. This is another example of how barren the quality is now the Bantamweight section is. Nishida, 28, has only 10 matches under his belt, but he is the IBF world champion at 118.
Nakatani aims to become unquestionable in this division before proceeding up to 122 to challenge the undisputed super Bantamweight champion Naoya ‘Monster’ Inoue for his four zones. However, it is not clear if it is worth Nakatani to stay at 118 to collect all the straps because it could take a few more years, unless his candidates throw a lot of money on the three champions.
Monster
A positive that could come out of Nakatani’s time -consuming goal of trying to make it unquestionable in this barren talent weight is that it will grow more. It is 31 now, but once Nakatani ends to record all the zones, it will be 33 or 34, older, slower and more vulnerable. It is smart on Junto’s side to age “The Monster”, but also in a way in a way and not courageous.
