Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 Start Time and New Details

Black Ops 6 Season 2 will go live on January 28, and it looks like it’s going to be Call of Duty’s version of The Empire Strikes Back, with the bad guys coming out on top.
The story of season 1 focused on the Luttazzi crime family, which is still operating after the events of the campaign, with multiplayer maps such as Heirloom and Racket simulating battles that strike at the heart of the criminal empire.
In Season 2, the Fighters are sending their best assassins after the Black Ops team, which basically just means that the new battle step will be themed around a new ninja-looking operator.

How big is the Warzone Season 2 update file for Black Ops 6?
While we don’t know exactly how big the Season 2 update schedule for Black Ops 6 and Warzone will be, we do know how big the game’s previous seasonal updates have been.
Since the Season 1 update was focused on multiplayer content and the Season 1 Reloaded Update was focused on the experience of zombies, they can help you understand how big the update of season 2 could be.
The Black Ops 6 Season 1 update file was 35GB, with Warzone adding an additional 10GB of content. The Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded update file added another 20GB. It’s a safe assumption that the file size of the Season 2 update will be in the same ballpark as these numbers.
What’s coming in Black Ops 6 in season 2?
While Black Ops 6 Season 1 had a multiplayer-focused content drop followed by a midseason zombie-focused content drop, the launch of Season 2 is set to release maps for both multiplayer modes.
Multiplayer
One of the new multiplayer maps could be a Black Ops 2 fan favorite.
The new season will launch with three new multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership and Lifeline. Each map has some connection to the Struggles, with Lifeline potentially being a remake of the popular Black Ops 2 Hijacked map.
Two more maps, Bullet and Grind, will be added in the midseason update. Sharing a name with a DLC map, it’s possible that players could see two remakes of Black Ops 2 multiplayer maps in Black Ops 6 Season 2.
Season 1 reintroduced the fan-favorite Prop Hunt party game playlist, and now Season 2 will reintroduce Gun Game. This game mode has players working their way through the game’s arsenal, with each kill ranking them up to a new weapon. Killed with a knife demotes a player to the previous gun.
New weapons, operators, game modes and more have been promised for Black Ops 6 Season 2, but we won’t know more until the official blog post.
Zombies
One of the amazing weapons of Origins is to return to Black Ops 6 zombies.
The new zombie map, The GraveIt will be released with the start of Season 2. It is also officially confirmed that the ice staff of Origins is making a return. Alongside an all-new easter egg that will push the Dark Aether storyline forward, the new map will apparently include the Abomination, Amalgam, and Doppelghast zombie variants introduced in previous maps.
Developer Treyarch previously teased the return of a fan-favorite zombie SMG. Both the PPSh-41 and the FAL assault rifle were featured in Season 2 promotional images, indicating that these weapons will likely be coming to Black Ops 6 zombies sometime during this season.
