Being Canadian has never been about shouting for strength. We cannot overlook our breasts or demanding attention. Sometimes we’re like silent kids on the playground, just wanting to get along with others. We hold doors, as if it were not our mistake, and our neighbor was our neighbor because it was right to do. We believe in fairness, modesty, and look for each other.

We are the greatest neighbor of the world … and yes, our spelling is right. We appear.
