Chelsea are in Women’s Super League (WSL) action this weekend against London’s Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea remain without long-term absentees Sophie Ingle, Kadeisha Buchanan and Aniek Nouwen, all of whom recently suffered ACL injuries and will miss the rest of the season. Sam Kerr and Mia Fishel suffered the same injury around 12 months ago but are unlikely to return for this weekend’s game, with February or March a more realistic target.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will be determined to extend their cushion at the top of the table and their form has arguably been unwavering this season. Bompastor’s side show no sign of slowing down, so it’s hard to see anything other than a Chelsea win, especially at Stamford Bridge.
