Club now in talks to sign £150k-p/w Newcastle PIF ace just landed

Newcastle could now miss out on one of their recent signings as a club have opened talks to sign him this January, according to a shock report.
Newcastle are pushing for the top four
Five Premier League Wins on the bounce saw Newcastle up the table and back in contention for the top four come the end of the season, which would bring with it a return to the Champions League.
Currently fifth, the Magpies are two points behind Chelsea going into their game against Wolves, while draws from Manchester City and Bournemouth have Eddie Howe alongside the opportunity to open a gap between the two teams in the coming days.

However, with the January transfer window open, the Magpies will need to strengthen, with teams around them already doing so and Manchester City are likely to improve with a huge outlay this winter.
As it stands, Newcastle may need to sell players before they can buy. Miguel Almiron is the one who could leave, with the Paraguayan international having made just seven Premier League appearances this season and starting just once. He is reportedly in advanced talks to exit; which could earn Newcastle a decent fee.
However, one player who could stay is Newcastle striker Martin Dubravka, despite the Slovakian veteran having has already agreed a deal to leave for Saudi Arabia. His departure would force the Magpies into the market for a second-choice goalkeeper, which would waste a significant chunk of any available budget.
However, that budget could be supplemented by a further departure, with one club in talks to land another Newcastle player.
Fenerbahce in talks with Newcastle for the defender
This comes as Fenerbahce have confirmed they are in “discussions” with Newcastle over the signing of defender Lloyd Kelly. just six months after arriving on Tyneside.
The England defender, who worked with Howe at Bournemouth, joined the club on a free transfer in the summer but has yet to nail down a first-team place at St James’ Park. So far, the 26-year-old has started just four top-flight games for the Magpies and with Sven Botman now returning from injury, his chances of being called upon to step in are diminishing.

Although dubbed “unbelievable” by Gary O’Neill when the pair worked together at Bournemouth, he had few opportunities to show it.
Now he could be on his way out, with Fenerbahce vice-president Acun Ilıcalı explaining that “We are in discussions about a transfer of Lloyd Kelly. He is a player we are interested in. If we reach an agreement, we will transfer this player.” with Jose Mourinho in the hunt for a left-back.
As reported by the Telegraphwhile “Newcastle were willing to listen to Fenerbahce’s offer”, the Turkish side’s “opening bid” was well below their valuation of the player.
As a result, “talks have not progressed and the Turkish club will have to significantly increase their offer for the 26-year-old if they are to continue”, although the prospect of a deal remains.
With Kelly believed to be up £150,000 a week on Tynesidehis sale could free up some much-needed capital for Howe’s side as they look to stay on the right side of the Premier League’s financial regulations while building a squad capable of competing for major honours, but it would take Fenerbahce to do seriously her offer.
