Deals: OnePlus 13 goes on sale, 13R is up for pre-order, Red Magic 10 Pro is also available

OnePlus 13 became global earlier this week and the more affordable 13R was announced at the same time. The flagship model is slightly more expensive this time around, but the 16/512GB option comes with a $100 discount, bringing its price down to last year’s OnePlus 12 price. There is also a cheaper 12/256GB model, but without the discount.

We got the OnePlus 13 Sri Lanka photo tour and there is detailed reviewyou can check – video review too. The company has made a commitment 4 OS update and six years of security patches.

The OnePlus 13R goes on sale next week, and you can buy it with a $100 gift card. The 13R looks like a “lite” version of its flagship sibling – it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of the 8 Elite, and its 6,000mAh battery only supports 80W wired charging (but no wireless). This generation even has a telephoto camera, 50MP 47mm unit with 2x optical and 4x in-sensor zoom. It doesn’t have the reach (or optical stabilization) of the 50MP 73mm module on the 13, but the 13R will be hard to beat in the value for money department.

Another phone that recently expanded to global markets is the Red Magic 10 Pro. It’s a gaming phone with an actively cooled Snapdragon 8 Elite (thanks to an internal fan) and unlike almost anything else on the market, it has a 6.85-inch 144Hz OLED display with a camera and square corners under the display. Its 50MP main (1/1.5”, OIS) and 50MP ultra-wide cameras are decent, but still focused on gaming. Therefore, the phone is equipped with a large battery of 7050 mAh with 80 W charging.

Speaking of gaming, Lenovo this week launched the Legion Go S handheld console. What makes it unique is that it’s the first handheld to come with SteamOS out of the box, aside from the Steam Deck itself. However, only the Windows 11 version is currently available. It uses an older AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU configured with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The cheaper variants will use the new Ryzen Z2 Go chip.

If you’ve been following the CES announcements, you may not have missed Nvidia’s new GPU lineup. Best Buy has three new cards — the GeForce RTX 5070, 5080, and top-of-the-line RTX 5090 — available for pre-order. These are Founders Edition dual-slot cards, while most partner brands have opted for thicker coolers. We’ll have to wait for reviews to see if Nvidia’s cooling solution is sufficient (especially since the 5090 has a TDP of 575W).

We may receive a commission on eligible sales.
