Deutsche Telecom, MWC 2025 shared more about the AI phone. The T-Mobile host company previously sold the AI phone as a concept of last year MWC. We now confirm that the device will be equipped with EU, and in the second half of this year in 2026 plans to go to the main European markets.
AI phone will take a special Magenta AI operating system that replaces the traditional application-based user interface with a confusion assistant. The device relies on multimodal entrance – you can use your voice or use cameras to record your requests or search.
You can tell the Source, AI phone to write text or speeches, emails or online purchases between applications and tell your smartphone.
The AI phone confirms the perplexist assistant for most tasks, but Deutsche Telecom, the device’s Google Cloud AI, the Gemini Multimodal Live API, Elevenlabs and PicsArt confirmed integration. Deutsche Telekom also confirmed that the MEINMAGENTA app in Google Play will unite AI features.
