Rostislav Panev, 51-year-old dual Russian-Israeli National, alleges that the main developer for the infamous people Palm The Rinsemware Gang, from Israel to the United States, has been extradited to the Department of Justice Public Thursday.
Placed Was arrested in Israel in DecemberBecome Third Person Arrested for his role in LockBit. Since then, he has been waiting for extradition to Israel.
The complainant claims that Penev was a developer working for the LockBit Ransmware Group from its inception in 2019 and at least by February 2024. Penev and other lockbeat developers formed and maintained the gang’s mal lover, and split criminal income with the gang affiliates, which led to the Cyberrot Ak Cases.
“If you are a member of the LockBit Ransomware Conspiracy, the United States will find you and justify you,” said United States Attorney John Geordano.
