DreamSmart’s Web3 smart glasses want to pay you to use AI

Artificial intelligence. Augmented Reality. Crypto. Three of the most talked about words in modern technology have come together in a way no one has seen before.

DreamSmart, a company focused on developing intelligent devices, and Up Network, innovators of AI agents, have teamed up to create the latest synthesis: have created Web3 AI Smart Glasses with integrated agents.

The glasses, due for release in Q1 2025, promise users the ability to earn money while rewarding them with “tokenized incentives” for interacting with artificial intelligence – a first in the increasingly crowded smartglasses market.

All of these decentralized operations are handled on the device, meaning no corporation or AI provider can access users’ transactions or personal information.

“AI agents eliminate the steep learning curve and complexities of Web3,” Up Network said in a statement. “By solving tasks collaboratively and intuitively, these agents enable anyone, even crypto newcomers, to interact with blockchain and AI using natural language.”

Other non-Web3 operations and interactions with Google Gemini are, of course, cloud-based and managed by Google.

“These glasses are more than just a device, they are a gateway to the future of computing and decentralized technologies that integrate AI, XR and Web3 incentives into one powerful ecosystem,” said Devansh Khatri, founder of Up Network. Press release shared with Deciphering.

The glasses handle all AI interactions using Google’s Gemini fundamental model. But beyond use LLM is the best example in the arenathese smart glasses promise compatibility with “other advanced AI agents” and promise real-time contextual intelligence.

The guide wave optical display projects images directly onto the lenses, creating what DreamSmart calls “the perfect augmented reality (XR) experience.” The company also claims that its glasses can provide eight hours of continuous use.

There’s no demo or additional information to share, but the announcement comes at a very hot time for the AI wearables industry, especially smart glasses.

Last week, at least seven major players have launched AI glasses at CES 2025. Some of the most interesting models are: Halliday smart glasses These images are directly in your eyes and Pull on the smart glassesthey use generative AI to project real-time transcriptions of what people say to the glasses wearer.

Ray-Ban smart glasses from Meta leads the market According to IDC data, more than 700,000 million units will be shipped by 2024 and is behind the boom in AI-powered wearables. IDC expects the overall smart glasses market to grow by 6% this year.

You can pre-register for your chance to buy glasses from UpNetwork official website.

If you can’t wait and want to try out a set of smart glasses that are currently available, DreamSmart has two options for you: StarV Airyou can buy for $59.9 and StarV View $399 glasses.

Future Web3 glasses will be part of the StarV line once they become officially available.
