Elon Musk’s appearance at a Trump rally this afternoon is drawing significant attention online for a one-arm gesture.
He made the gesture while thanking supporters for contributing to Trump’s victory. Musk thanked the crowd for “making it happen,” before placing his right hand over his heart and then thrusting that same arm into the air straight in front of him.
“My heart goes to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured,” he said.
Several users on X, the social media platform he owns, compared the gesture to a Nazi salute.
Musk has not commented since he made his appearance at the Capital One Arena rally earlier.
