Fiwix :: Your little Unix-like kernel

Fiwix is an operating system cernel written from the beginning, based on UNIX architecture and fully focused on being a posix match. It has been designed and developed by many as a hobby OS and, because it also serves for educational purposes, the kernel code is stored as important for people’s well-being. This size is small (less than 50K line code), runs on the I386 hardware platform and compatible with a good standard of GNU applications.
This is based on the plan of monolithic kernel and it is written throughout the Ansi language, leaving only for assembly in small required features. It follows the binary interface system (Abi) and also refers to it for the importance of Linux 2.0 calls to the Unix essence as possible.
What is fiwixos?
Fiwixos is a distribution of FIWIX, an operating system created from a software collection based on Fiwix kernel. It usually consists of FIWIX kernel, GNU TOOLCHAIN, LIBRARY and additional software. All attached software is free and the open-source software available at the same pieces of binaries and the source form of code.
Fiwixos 3.4 uses newlib as the Standard C Library and Ext2 as Primary File System.
Go to Downloads Page to determine how to install this operating system and start leaking code at the source of the kernel.
