President-elect Trump and his former vice president, Mike Pence, shook hands at the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter on Thursday in his first public interaction in four years.

Pence was seen standing up to shake Trump’s hand as the former president came inside Washington, DC National Cathedral for funerals. After the two recognized each other and appeared to say a few words, Pence shook former first lady Melania Trump’s hand.
