France regained the title of six nations for the first time in three years with a 35-16 victory over Scotland in Paris.

France required a victory of any kind to take their hands on the trophy, rather than England’s emphatic victory in Cardiff Taking the title match in the final game of the league.

In a pulsating competition, Scotland threatened to offer their old enemy with the greatest favorable before a ruthless Brute Force depiction saw France put the spiritual challenge in bed.

France – trying: Moefana (2), Bielle -biarrey, Ramos. Conversions: Ramos (3). Criminals: Ramos (3).

Scotland – trying: Graham. Conversions: Russell. Sanctions: Russell (3).

France led 16-13 to the break thanks to Yoram Moefana’s test, but it could easily have been dragged and reduced to 14 players who had excluded Tom Jordan’s test and Peato Mauvaka had been sent for a blatant headbutt to Ben White.

But they took full advantage of the reprieves couple, with the driving in the title – the second of the Fabien Galthie era – in an imposing way with three unanswered second half.

Louis Bielle-Biarrey was crowned his stellar campaign with his eighth test at this year’s six nations before additional ratings by Thomas Ramos and Moefana, triggered Stade de France in a party state.

After a spectacular light appearance before the start and in a party atmosphere, France marked their intention with a strong start that gave a penalty that Thomas Ramos kicked among the seats in the fourth minute.

Scotland dug to stop hosts extending to the advantage, although their hopes of maintaining a place had been lost when Jamie Ritchie was a sinner in the 12th minute to collapse a maul.

France made the extra man count in the 18th minute after a brilliant work by Gael Fickou to send Yoram Moefana for the first night’s attempt, with Ramos adding the extra.

The tide began to turn halfway through, however, when the French Peato Mauvaka tower was yellow – cardiac – avoiding a red – after appearing in Headbutt White. Finn Russell put the resulting penalty away from the near distance to take the visitors and run.

At the other end, White pulled out an amazing treatment to deny his colleague Scrum-Half Maxime Lucu after climbing the line after a fumble from Russell.

This trial intervention appeared to have a galvanized effect on the Scots, who silenced home support in the 28th minute when Russell put Graham scoring.

Further, French indifference paved the way for Scotland to level things on 13-13, as Jean-Baptiste Gros was a sinner due to many team offenses and Russell did the injury with the sentence.

Ramos then restored the French lead with another penalty, but it was Scotland that seemed to have passed in front of the last action of half when Jordan pushed his way, only for TMMO to inform referee Matthew Carley that his elbow Kinghorn had.

France was fully benefited from this dynamic shift and made a blisters in the second half with Bielle-Biarrey screwing up for his eighth attempt at the league-a new record of a player in a Six Nations campaign.

A Russell sentence brought Scotland back to a convertible level score. However, Ramos sank shortly before the hour – and then added the extras – to put the guests 14 points clear and firmly to their destiny command.

Moefana then added the second night, taking the game beyond the Scots and allowing the party to start long before the end.
