Fun and scary statistics you can see

Spotify He has a lot to answer for. The Spotify Wrapped feature has quickly become such an iconic part of December that every brand is rolling out their own version. Some are quite interesting, e.g Google’s Year of Searchsome are just jokes, e.g Ryanair’sand some are downright weird.

I ran into that last category a few days ago. This is where we walk you through our workflow, giving you a behind-the-scenes look Android Authority With a project management tool called Asana. I have mixed feelings about these recaps. On the one hand, they’re some of the most blatant examples of trend-jacking and bandwagon-jumping you’ll ever see. On the other hand, even the most trivial samples usually contain some interesting nuggets when you dig.

And they can go too. These companies have all the information they need to compile the statistics and can put them together fairly easily. Show them over some fun graphics and it gives the consumer a personalized experience that makes them feel about 1% more special.

The prevalence of this trend makes it even more surprising that we don’t have Android Wrapped yet. After all, Google has very accurate and personal statistics about how you interact with your phone and the world. We wondered what your Year would look like if it existed on Android. This is our vision.

As a product of Google, Android for this he could obtain a large amount of information. Just the way you interact with the operating system would have a lot to work with Google apps Like Photos, Maps and Chrome, it makes it a real goldmine.

Here are some examples of the type of statistics you can expect to see in Android Wrapped:

• You have spent 155 hours on the phone – November was the month you talked about the most.
• The person you called the most was your spouse – Your mother was second and your cable provider’s customer service number was alarmingly at the top of the list.
• You have sent 11,447 text messages — This fantasy football group chat made up a good portion.
• WhatsApp was your most used app — You have opened it 2703 times. You must be popular!
• Your total screen time was 1669 hours — On June 10, your phone was unlocked for 210 minutes without interruption.
• Your most used emoji was a red heart ❤️ — You are a lover, not a fighter.
• The topic you searched for the most was election — You made 15 political searches before polling day.
• You have received 7340 notifications — There will be WhatsApp messages again.
• You have traveled 19,162 miles – Working from home lowered the number, but a trip to South America increased the distance.
• You have taken 931 photos — 17% of them visited South America, and you are in 28% of them.

There’s a lot more Android can tell you about your year, but we imagine it’ll draw the line somewhere. As interesting as the data is, certain statistics can be uplifting or a little embarrassing when it comes to using your phone.

Google is unlikely to take any risks in this area, so here are some examples of statistics that Android can store:

• You ignored 608 calls this year – They were mostly from your mother. Maybe you had a good reason to sound them out?
• You have spent 412 hours playing the game — Back then, you could learn Spanish at an intermediate level.
• 62% of your screen time was spent scamming on social media – You are probably angrier than last year.
• Your average screen time before bed was 77 minutes — No wonder you need this sleep app.
• You’ve already searched for 11 things you should know — How did you get to 29 without learning how to boil an egg?
• 2298 words autocorrected — 35% increase in spelling fails over last year.
• You dropped your phone 18 times – Rude!
• The 12 programs you downloaded have not yet been opened — That calorie tracker might come in handy if you try it.
• You have switched to Incognito Mode 184 times in Chrome – It can be an innocent excuse.
• You snoozed your alarm 1071 times — This is almost three times a day, sleepy head.
