The Galaxy S22 series was one of them The best Android smartphones of their era and the phones have enough performance to keep them relevant for a while. So, it is not surprising to find people still using these phones. But as the phone gets older, more and more users come across something peculiar Galaxy S22 problem where the phone enters the boot loop. Believe it or not, the solution to this bootloader is to put the phone in the freezer (!?!).

Redditor Then_All_4146 faced an issue where their Galaxy S22 started booting randomly. Other users have chimed in with their experiences and it turns out that putting the phone in the freezer helps to temporarily get the phone out of boot loop. But as a Redditor Nice apartment84 notes that their Galaxy S22 went into reboot mode after it started overheating and as a result green line problem also. However, this time was enough for users to remove important data from the phone.
We saw other topics Reddit and Samsung community forums discussion of this issue and its strange temporary solution. The solution also appears to come from a YouTuber WorldofTech, who wrote about it In March 2022. Surprisingly, users didn’t notice any unnaturally high heat build-up before putting their phones in the freezer. When some users sent their phones to Samsung for repair, the company replaced the motherboard, so the problem doesn’t seem to be the battery.
There are many other reports (1, 2, 3, 4) Galaxy S22 series phones have been bootloading in the recent past, with some users linking the bootloop to the recent One UI 6.1 update. Since Samsung stopped selling the Galaxy S22 series some time ago, most users are out of warranty. As a result, Samsung’s customer service offers a relatively large amount for motherboard replacement.
