Google Home APIs enter public developer beta on Android

The Home APIs have three parts:

Last year, some partners already started integration using Home APIs:

• “Eve was able to unlock advanced features such as autonomous heating charts in Eve Thermo for its users and also expand their reach within the Android ecosystem, creating a solid foundation for future development.
• “Nanoleaf It used Home APIs to make entertainment even more enjoyable by giving customers simple voice commands to turn on the light bar that reflects the Nanoleaf 4D display.
• “…LG Google used Home APIs to integrate Home devices directly into TV smart home experiences.

All developers Home can now access the Android version of the APIs and test its apps with up to 100 users, while iOS is getting a public developer beta in the coming months. Google Home APIs will reach general availability “later this year.”
