Hashmatullah Shahidi indicates Ibrahim Zadran’s tone as “one of the greatest” after hitting ENG by CT 2025
In the 8th match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Afghan national team from Afghanistan was in action on Wednesday, February 26th.
The Cricket National Team led by Afghanistan Hashmatullah Shahidi took over the English Cricket National Team led by Jos Buttler at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

“Today was a tense game. We checked it well. I am happy with the result.

Shahidi was further praising Azmatullah Omarzai for his heroine. Said:
“Azmat played a good blow. He played with a positive intention. He bent down and critical overs.
Hashmatullah Shahidi added that the victory over England will give them great confidence in the fight against Australia. Stated:
“Let’s hope we get the momentum in the game in relation to Australia. It will give us confidence, but it will be a new day, this game will decide who will go to the semifinals. We will do what is good for us that day.”
How did Afghanistan appear in the previous ODI match with England?
Afghanistan gave a performance for ages in the previous ODI match against England. They humbled defenders with an impressive 69 -year victory in Delhi on October 15, during the ICC 2023 World Cup.
