Samsung closed its Unpacked event today with a teaser for its upcoming slim smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge. At the San Jose event, we got a quick look at the Galaxy S25 Edge, including a few details about the device.

The Galaxy S25 Edge isn’t launching alongside the rest of the company’s new smartphones, but it’s perhaps the most interesting because for the first time in a while, Samsung managed to keep it under wraps.

At Samsung’s San Jose event, the company unveiled the latest device from Paul Bettany, the voice of JARVIS and Vision in the MCU.. The product experience area then opened, and a crowd quickly formed in the back around Samsung’s upcoming smartphone. Samsung didn’t let anyone touch the Galaxy S25 Edge, but it showed off the device.

We quickly noticed the Edge’s slim profile. This is clearly what Samsung intended, as the phone has been shown side-on with mockups of the Galaxy S23 and S24 to show the difference in thickness.

From the front, the screen appears to be nearly as large as the Galaxy S25+, with slim bezels. The back is where you’ll find some departures from the rest of the series. While Samsung was very light on details during the event, representatives did mention two key pieces of information about the device from the event venue. First, the thickness is about 6 mm.
