Isaac Chamberlain pulled out of the Viddal Riley match on February 1 after suffering an injury in training during the build-up to the match | Boxing news

Isaac Chamberlain has pulled out of his upcoming bout with Vidal Riley due to injury.
London cruiserweights Riley and Chamberlain developed a simmering rivalry that led to a highly anticipated fight on February 1st.
But an injury sustained by Chamberlain in training has ruled the Brixton boxer out of action.
The February 1 bill at OVO Wembley Arena continues, live Sky Sportstitled Adam Azim’s clash with Sergey Lipinets.
Azim is rising to the global stage as he aims to prove he is ready to take on the best in the division. His last fight was an emphatic victory over Ohara Davies in October at the Copper Box Arena.
The unbeaten 22-year-old looked his best as he dictated the action and dominated Davies from the opening bell, ending the bout in spectacular style over eight rounds.
But Lipinets is a former IBF world super lightweight champion. The Kazakhstan-born fighter captured the IBF belt with a unanimous decision win over Akihiro Kondo in 2017.
The 35-year-old has since established himself as one of the top contenders in the featherweight and middleweight divisions with wins over former world champions Lamont Peterson and Omar Figueroa Jr.
Riley would have boxed Chamberlain in the bill’s chief support contest. But that match is now on hold.
Supporter Ben Shalom said: “Unfortunately Isaac suffered an injury in training camp and is unable to fight on February 1st.
“The match between Viddal and Isaac has been a long time coming. We were excited to finally see them in the ring and disappointed that it won’t happen next week as planned. We wish Isaac a speedy recovery. News of what’s next Vidal is coming soon ».
