Joe Alwyn ready for everyone to move on from his relationship with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriendJoe Alwyn, has walked away from his relationship and feels that other people should too.
The actor spoke with The Guardian on his next film, “The Brutalist”, and when asked if he was ready to move on from the relationship and the attention that has been with him, he clearly said that he has.
“It’s something for other people to do,” he told the outlet. “Let’s talk about something that is a little bit ago in my life. So it’s for other people. That’s what I feel.”
Swift and Alwyn dated for six years, keeping it very private during that time.

The actor was asked if he was worried that their relationship would derail his career, which includes award-winning films such as “The Favourite”.
“I just tried to focus on controlling what I can control,” he said, “and, from the beginning, I tried to focus on the things that are meaningful to me: friends, family, work, of course. Then the noise outside. of this, I think I did what a lot of people who are in the public eye do, which is just try to ignore it.”
He continued: “If you don’t have it, and if you let all other things go, and if it begins to affect you and your behavior, you live from the outside in. -ed.”
Alwyn and Swift collaborated on two of their albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” both of which were released. during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Under the pseudonym William Bowery, he is credited on two songs, “Exile” and “Betty”, and as a co-producer under his real name on several more “Folklore” tunes, earning a Grammy alongside Swift in 2021 for the album of the year.
“The block was full of surprises, and this one was pretty special,” he said of the experience. “It wasn’t something I would have expected.”
“We are talking about something that is a little while now in my life. So it is for other people.”
Their relationship came to an end at the beginning of 2023, near the beginning of the singer’s record “Eras Tour”.
In April 2023, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Alwyn and Swift were dating he called her saying it “wasn’t dramatic” and the split was “amicable”.

“The relationship had just run its course,” the insider added, explaining that the former couple’s split was the reason Alwyn hadn’t been seen attending any of Swift’s “Eras Tour” shows.
Alwyn, like many of Swift’s exes, has been the subject of intense scrutiny from her fans, which has combed through her lyrics, particularly her latest album, “The Department of Tortured Poets”, for clues about the ups and downs of the relationship.
Earlier this year, the 33-year-old man spoke The Sunday Times style about the fervent attention from the public.
“So you’ve got something very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space: tabloids, social media, press, where it’s then dissected, speculated, twisted out of shape beyond recognition,” Alwyn said. “And the truth is, until this last point, there will always be a gap between what is known and what is said.”

“I’ve made my peace with it,” Alwyn added.
He also told the outlet that he and Swift “mutually” made a decision to “keep the more private details of our relationship private.”
“It’s never been something to market, and I see no reason to change that now,” said Alwyn. “And, look, that’s still a little over a year ago now, and I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life, professionally and personally. I feel really good.”
During this interview, Alwyn refused to answer whether he was still in contact with Swift or the status of his dating life.
