Kai Havertz: Arsenal Striker could lose the rest of his season with an injury suffered by the trip to Dubai | Football news

Arsenal Fear Striker Kai Havertz could lose the rest of the season with an injury.

Havertz injured his hamstring during a Dubai training camp and means that Arsenal now does not now have recognized strikers who are currently fully fit as they offer to close the gap to the leaders of the Premier League Liverpool.

The German returned to London with the rest of the team on Tuesday night and the injury will continue to be evaluated on Wednesday and Thursday. Mikel Arteta is expected to provide information on the injury at his press conference on Friday.

Arsenal has already lost Gabriel Jesus for the rest of the season, having suffered anterior cross -ligament injury (ACL) in the FA Cup defeat in Manchester United.

Gunners also have Gabriel Martinelli for next month with a hamstring problem maintained in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup in Newcastle.

Arsenal has also been without Bukayo Saka since December 21 with a Hamstring theme – though the England wing was part of Gunners’ training team in Dubai and could return to action in March.

Arsenal’s injuries

  • Kai Havertz (Hamstring – Outside the season)
  • Bukayo Saka (Hamstring – Back in March earlier)
  • Gabriel Jesus (ACL – Out about the season)
  • Gabriel Martinelli (hamstring – out for over a month)
  • Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee – second surgery examined)
  • Ben White (knee – setting for return)

However, until then, Arsenal will have to navigate without a recognized Central Therapy option – having chosen not to add anyone to the area during the January transfer window.

Arteta revealed the club’s desire to boost ahead and a delayed offer for Ollie Watkins was rejected by Aston Villa in the last week of January.

“It’s a nightmare for Arsenal – the season seems almost impossible”

Alan Smith believes Arsenal’s chances are “almost impossible” with reports that Kai Havertz could lose the rest of the season with an injury.

Former Arsenal Alan Smith striker at Sky Sports News:

Everyone said you could miss some, but you can’t afford to miss Kai Havertz.

With Gabriel Jesus coming out for the rest of the season, I always thought Arsenal needed a center forward anyway, even if Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli were suitable. It’s a bit of a nightmare for Gunners if it’s going to go out for the rest of the campaign.

It will be a case of mixing and matching now – Leandro Trossard has played as a fake nine, he did this this season. Raheem Sterling may need to pinch in a way he has not done so far. It has been a bit disappointing since coming.

But it would be difficult for Arsenal to this title boost, it was an external opportunity that could roll in Liverpool – now it seems almost impossible. For this season, you wonder – with what they have – how they can make a success. The Champions League also seems very difficult.

You could point out the fact that Manchester City won the Premier League once without a center ahead, but they had a little more in the reserve than Arsenal now got. It is a key part of the season, perhaps a point that ended hope and optimism.

Resolution: Where are you going Arsenal now?

Sky Sports’ Sam Blitz:

It was Arsenal’s fans scared after the January fruitless window. In the week after closing a market where the Gunners failed to boost the line forward, Arsenal could lose the unique choice of strikers they calculate for the rest of the season.

If Arsenal’s duty to close Liverpool was tough, now it’s even tougher. With Arne Slot having Mohamed Salah as the most impressive player in Europe, Cody Gakpo appears in great times, as well as Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez on the wings – Gunners are exhausted.

Where are Arsenal going now? In terms of the addition, the Gunners could enter the free transport market to find out if there are short -term choices out there. But, in fact, if Arsenal failed to act when the market was open, would they really enter the panic with the window closed?

The most likely option is to deal with what they have – and these options are thin. Not only Arsenal has their first two options for the season, they also have only three forward players to suit their Leandro Trossard team, Ethan Nwaneri and Lan Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling.

All three are candidates to play ahead of their next game against Leicester on Saturday. Trossard played as No 9 in the Champions League victory over Girona, while Arteta has described the role of No 9 as a possible full-time NWANERI job in the future-if the 17-year-old’s best trips have come out widely.

Sterling is also a choice that has played 5-1 win over Man City in this position, as it has the history of appearance in a central role in England.

But the real place Arsenal is heading for regret. Exactly how did they end up in this scenario? Their activity in January will consider, but they may also return to the sales of Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe plus the outputs of the loan of Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson.

All four will now need this Arsenal team. All of the above reasons left their first front of their choice with too much to do. All three are injured now.

Arsenal’s injuries to numbers

Arsenal is not the only team to have injury problems this season. In fact, they are in the middle of the Premier League table for injuries right now.

They will not take much sympathy from northern London opponents Tottenham for their current situation.

But it is the seriousness of the injuries that poses Arsenal except most. Their players have lost almost 650 days due to injury – and counting – which is well above the Premier League average and is the fifth highest among the top teams.

It is also the type of Arsenal players, with the majority of wounded Gunners attacking options. Saka, Havertz and Martinelli are all out for a while – this is undoubtedly their first front of their choice.

And there are some difficult games on the Arsenal horizon. They will hope to win wins against Leicester and West Ham later this month – but fits Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Chelsea.
