Latest Chelsea transfer: Crystal Palace captain Mark Gwehi and Trevo Tsaloma being considered as possible centre-back options | Football News

Chelsea want to sign Crystal Palace and England centre-back Mark Gwehi.
The west London club are looking for a replacement for Wesley Fofana, who Enzo Maresca has confirmed could miss the rest of the season with a serious hamstring injury.
Newcastle made several attempts to sign Gwehi last summer but were unable to agree terms with Palace.
The 24-year-old began his career at Chelsea’s Cobham academy before joining Palace in an £18m deal in the summer of 2021.
Another option Chelsea are considering is recalling Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Palace.
