Man United to make a big loss

Manchester United look very likely to make a big loss Rasmus Hojlund, who is available for the right price.
AC Milan and Juventus are said to be interested in the 21-year-old, but he does not currently look like their top target, according to ESPN.
The report notes, however, that Hojlund cost €75 million to sign from Atalanta and that means the Red Devils face a huge loss in this expensive and unsuccessful signing.
Hojlund looked extremely promising during his time at Atalanta, but has struggled badly to make the step up to play for the Utd man, and an exit now certainly makes sense for the Denmark international.
It may be that Hojlund’s previous impressive form in Serie A could earn him opportunities at big clubs such as Milan and Juve, but ESPN stress that concrete offers do not currently look forthcoming.
Rasmus Hojlund becomes Manchester United’s latest expensive Flop

With just two goals in his last 18 Premier League games, there is no doubt Hojlund plays at Old Traffordbut he is far from the first and probably won’t be the last to have this problem.
Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson retired and threw United into disarray, there have been so many expensive signings that haven’t worked out for the club.
Huge sums have been invested in the likes of Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez, Angel Di Maria, Romelu Lukaku and Antony, while more recently we’ve also seen Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee.
Hojlund may still have a big future in the game but perhaps he didn’t get a move to United at the most ideal time and now it will be interesting to see if he can get his career back on track.
MUFC, meanwhile, surely just need to keep making changes until they settle on a team that works best for new manager Ruben Amorim.
