Mourinho amazed as Rangers win shot, United and Spurs

It was a perfect night for the British sides in the Europa League, as Manchester United and Tottenham put the first foot appearances behind them to move on to the last eight, with the Rangers joining them after a dramatic penalty against Fenerbahce.

The sanctions were the class of the night in Old Trafford, with three of them serving on United’s second leg with Real Sociedad. Mikel Oyarzabal’s 10th minute put Sociedad 1-0 at night and 2-1 in front of the whole, only for a pair of Bruno Fernandes penalties to turn the tie in favor of United.

Jon Aramburu then saw red in the 63rd minute for a foul for Patrick Dorgu and United then dominated as Fernandes completed a hat-trick and Diogo Dalot hit the injury home to send Ruben Amorim 5-2 to the aggregate.

Tottenham were controlled almost throughout AZ Alkmaar in a performance in stark contrast to their 1-0 defeat in the Netherlands a week earlier.

Wilson Odobert’s first target for the first half Spurs and a fine 48 -minute attempt by James Maddison gave them the overall lead and, although some frightening defense allowed peer koopmeiners to throw them soon, Odobert finished a great deal of Tottenham The ange Postcoglou’s Men.

The most intense drama, however, was in Ibrox.

Butland the hero for the Rangers

Rangers was surprised by Jose Mourinho’s fenerbahce with excellent performance in Istanbul last week, supporting a 3-1 victory.

But it seemed that all this good work would be overturned after the support of Sebastian Szymanski leverages the tie as a whole, forcing extra time.

Fenerbahce had the best of the extra time, but could not find the goal of completing the recovery and, in a rough Ibrox atmosphere, goalkeeper Jack Butland rescued the Rangers.

Butland saved the first sentence of the shot, denying Dusan Tadic on his feet. Ianis Hagi had Rangers’ third sentence, saved to break the nerves of the fans of the house, just for Butland to put the hosts on the rim, overturning the former Manchester United Fred.

Tom Lawrence strongly sent the next spot-kick and Ibrox was sent to predators when Mert Yandas pushed the high and wide penalty.

Athletic still dreams of San Mamés’ final

Then for Rangers it is the team whose stage will host the final in May, the Athletic Bilbao turning around a first leg deficit to see the Roma and reach the last eight.

Roma had driven 2-1 from the game at Stadio Olimpico, but Mats Hummels’ 11th thin red card for a Maroan Sannadi foul put them on the back foot. Nico Williams took advantage of the double side of Yuri Berchiche’s 64th minute effort, Athletic Bilbao passed from 4-3 to a total after Leandro Paredes delayed consolation from the penalty.

Hummels then gave an apology to the social media and there may be many AJAX fans who require their own players after the Eredivisie 4-1 giants launch by Eintracht Frankfurt. Mario Gotze was in Target twice for the winners 2021-22 as they completed a total 6-2 victory.

Lazio succeeded where Arch Roma’s opponents failed, passing 3-2 to inert after a 1-1 draw with Viktoria Plzen, Alessio Romagnoli, joining a decisive 77th minute. They will face Bodo/Glimt after the Norwegian side went 4-2 in the total despite a 2-1 defeat to Olympiacos.

Lyon waits for United after shipping FCSB 4-0 and 7-1 in total.
