Nintendo is keeping its cards close to its chest when it comes to its next-gen console. Nevertheless, Nintendo Switch 2 From hardware details to a possible preview, leaks have been piling up over the past month dummy unit. In this new leak, we get our best look at the new Joys.
Poster on it Reddit Nintendo has shared images of what are said to be Joy-Cons for the Switch 2. In these images, we see the inside and back of the device, which is mostly black with a blue highlight on the inside.
While we can’t say if these images are legit or not, the design matches what we have I heard before about the new Joy-Cons. This includes larger SL and SR buttons and a trigger next to the ZR trigger. Note that there is also a serial number that could cause some trouble for a leaker.
If this controller is the real deal, it looks like Nintendo might opt for a more mature, muted tone for the Joy-Cons this time around. Where the standard colors for the Switch are red and blue, this controller is mostly black. Not to mention that the blue color on the inside will be hidden after connecting to the console.
It is not yet known when Nintendo plans to finally reveal the Switch’s successor. However, the company said the announcement will take place during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. The leaker who revealed the name of the next console claims that the announcement is planned for this month.
