Nuno is in the running for manager of the month following Nottingham Forest’s remarkable run
Nuno Espirito Santo was today rewarded for Nottingham Forest’s brilliant recent run by being named Premier League Manager of the Month for December.
Forest have enjoyed five wins in the month and, after following up with a 3-0 win at Wolves on Monday, are now in third place, just six points behind Liverpool.
The East Midlands club were expected to be involved in a relegation battle this season but are now in contention for at least a top-four finish and a crack at the Champions League.
Having opened December with defeat to Manchester City, Forest have beaten Manchester United, Aston Villa, Brentford, Tottenham and Everton.
Tomorrow they face Luton in the FA Cup.
