“One of our best performance”

The South African Cricket National Team led by Temba Bavuma faced Afghanistan’s Cricket National Team in the third ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on Friday, February 21.

Temba Bavuma’s South Africa crushes Afghanistan in the race to record a 107 -year -old dominant victory at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Ryan Rickelton wins potm for his heroine

South Africa first fell into the race and ended up with a score of 315/6 on the Board of Directors. Credit for that goes to Ryan Riconton’s quartet, Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, and Aiden Markramas all of them scored more than 50 routes in the participation.

The leading artist, meanwhile, was Ryan Rickelton, who played a striking 103 strike from 106 balls, with 7 four and 1 six. Bavuma, Van der Dussen and Markram recorded ratings of 58, 52 and 52.

The overall defense, Kagiso Rabada took a three -wicker transfer and was well supported by others, and South Africa popped Afghanistan for 208 at 43.3 overs.

Speaking during the post -race presentation ceremony, Tmba Bavuma said that South Africa’s performance in Karachi was one of the best ever. Said:

“Clinical performance, we made the brave decision to win first without knowing the wicket, then we were clinicians with the ball, closest to one of our best performances. Wicket seemed very different from what we used to in Pakistan.”

Temba Bavuma loves his strokes to play well and said that the bowlers dug good lines and lengths. Temba Bavuma added that they should offer a similar kind of performance in their upcoming match against Aussies.

“The strokes were ahead and we managed to get a good score. There were a lot of cracks and some variable bounce were expected, it was a little difficult at times,” Tmba Bavuma said.

“The types on the back of the limb are boasting about having a strong finish. With the bowlers, it was to hit this length hard, we must do more than they now against Australia,” Bavuma added.

South Africa destroyed Afghanistan and in their previous ODI as well

The last ODI match between Afghanistan and South Africa took place on September 22, 2024. After the loss of the first two Odis of the three matches seriesSouth Africa returned strongly to the third match against Afghanistan and won a 7-Wicket victory in Sharjah.

Proteas looked bright with the bat and the ball and was excellent in the field as well. South African spherists put the tone early, combining Afghanistan for 169 in just 34 overs.

Complete identity (2/22), Pexper pex (2/17) and Nqabayomzi Peter (2/22) seemed threatening while Inflatable (1/44) also fell.

They produce three critical execution, including captain Hashmatullah shahidi, and put Afghanistan under pressure. The only strokes worried by the proteins were Rahmanullah Gurbaz (89 of 94 balls) and Am Ghazanfar (31 of 15 balls) – both of which played very well.

Markram looked brilliant, hitting four four and three six in his undefeated stroke, while the Aphanistan’s pilgrims struggled to put pressure on, with only Fareed Ahmad (1/17), Mohammad Nabi (1/37) and Ghazanfar (1 /38) Wickets.
