Interestingly, 94 percent of respondents said that developing skills internally by training in-house employees is more important than seeking outside help. However, organizations that take threats seriously are making sure that both methods of preparation are taking place.
Currently, 36 percent of companies surveyed in the META region have implemented or plan to deploy external support to adapt to the evolving threat landscape. Meanwhile, 34 percent do the same through internal training initiatives. In addition, 61 percent already use external cybersecurity expertise, and 62 percent have training programs in place, highlighting a two-pronged approach to strengthening their protection.
