Reusable Rocket Startup Stock Raises Another Big Round: $260M

Y Combinator Alum Stock Space Just Raised $260 million Series CIts total raised to $480 million. This is after raising $100 million in October 2023 and $75 million in December 2021.
The company was founded in 2019 by Blue Origin veterans Andy Lapsa and Tom Feldman, who began their careers as SpaceX interns. Stock attended the Winter 2021 YC cohort.
The space startup has an ambitious goal of building the first fully reusable rocket, meaning both a booster and a second stage. The video was shared last month Successful testing of its first stage rocket engine. The cash will help it build its new facilities at the historic Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
Investors in this latest round include Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Glad Brook Capital Partners, Industrious Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Seven Seven Six, Y Combinator and several others.
