Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli lose their cool, get angry with Melbourne fans for this act

Indian national cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma along with senior batsman Virat Kohli were not happy with the attendance of fans at the team’s practice session. According to RevSportz reports, it is learned that the two senior players have expressed their disappointment over the fans’ demands.

The Indian National Cricket Team has been making strides ahead of the fourth match of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Boxing Day match between the teams will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Thursday (December 26).

The Indian national cricket team is having intense training sessions in Melbourne

The Indian National Cricket Team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne as they eye a win in the fourth Test of the series. The focus, in particular, will be on two of the team’s senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have suffered a major blow.

Rohit and Kohli have reportedly looked quite solid in the nets. They have ticked almost all the boxes right and are making sure that no stone is left unturned in their preparations for the next match of the series, which will be a virtual series decider.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not happy with the fans shouting and demanding certain shots from them in the nets.

But the two stalwarts of the Indian national cricket team, however, also felt uncomfortable during the practice session. This was because they were not happy with how some of the fans came to watch the nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.

Reports claimed that the fans were shouting and demanding certain shots from Rohit and Virat. This did not go down well with the two senior players in the team as they expressed their disappointment over the same.

The Indian team, after the first test in Perth, closed the doors to the fans. This was because the fans abused some players, who complained about the same and hence the Rohit Sharma-led team practiced behind closed doors, but the fans were present at MCG.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not been at their best in Tests

Coming in the form of Rohit and Kohli, both the batsmen have not been at their best in the longest format of the game. The Indian captain has looked torrid with the bat as he has managed just 19 runs in the two matches he has played while batting in the middle order.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli started the Australia tour on a high as he smashed a classy century in Perth. But he has struggled to get going after that and has managed just 26 runs in the next two matches he has played, coming out on the outside ball.

Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be keen to step up the team in the final two matches. If the Indian national cricket team is to face their chances of winning the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, they would want the two senior players to bring their A-game.
