Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Ring health wearable is getting two new size options, along with additional features and expansion into more markets.
When it launched in the second half of 2024, the Galaxy Ring offered several size options ranging from 5 to 13, but more users than expected were looking at larger sizes, which led to stock issues when the Ring was first launched. This has since been resolved, but demand for larger sizes has now resulted in Samsung announced larger Galaxy Ring models.
Launched on January 22, the Galaxy Ring will be available in sizes 14 and 15. same price as existing modelsand will be available in all regions where the Ring is sold by February 7th.
Samsung is also expanding Galaxy Ring sales to the existing 38 countries, including Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Taiwan, Vietnam and Zambia. Countries where the ring is sold.
Finally, there are new Samsung Health features coming to the Galaxy Ring.
These include the Sleep Environment Report, which uses SmartThings devices to monitor room conditions and make suggestions to improve your sleep by changing your sleeping environment. A “bedtime guide” will be able to suggest optimal times to sleep. and wake up depending on your sleep patterns. Finally, the new “Awesomeness tracker” will help you “improve your health and get a better night’s sleep by managing your mood, breathing and stress levels” with breathing and meditation guides on Samsung Health.
