Samsung’s triple-layer smartphone will be more limited than previously offered

We heard that last week Samsung was working on its triple smartphone to be a competitor Huawei Mate XT. It was later reported that Samsung will release this device in the second half of this year, with fewer than 300,000 units due to the highly complex manufacturing processes required.
A new report out of Korea today lowers that number even further. Apparently only 200,000 units will be produced. Parts of the device will be produced starting from the second quarter (April-June).
Samsung has now reportedly shared its plans with “major component manufacturers”. Samsung’s triple-layer device currently measures less than 10 inches when fully unfolded, but keep in mind that the same report also tells us that the design isn’t finished yet.
Interestingly, the report also claims to have sales Galaxy Z Fold SE less than 100,000 units to date. It is also rumored to be developed by Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE for this year. Samsung plans to sell about 7 million foldable devices this year, of which there will be 3 million Flip7 unit, 2 mln 7 layers units, 900,000 Flip FE units and the aforementioned 200,000 Triple units.
