Six Nations 2025: Antoine Dupont Wary of Fin Smith and Marcus Smith Threat to England against France | Rugby news news

France Captain Antoine Dupont is cautious about the possible threat of Fin Smith and Marcus Smith will put in the English attack on Saturday.
England has carried the dice for the two rounds, giving Fin Smith his full debut in Fly-Half and moving Marcus Smith in full back, the changes that hope will ignite their attack.
The playmakers, and the two traditional 10, ended the defeat of last Saturday 27-22 by Ireland in these positions, and Dupont fears that Marcus Smith will be a big threat running from deep.
“He went pretty well at the end of the game against Ireland, with Marcus Smith in the full-back. He went well against us last year when he came early,” Dupont said.
“We know his quality, with the ball in his hands and that he is able to create overlays in almost any situation. It is threatened if he is 10 or 15.
“There will be another No 10 on the pitch to lead the game. They will surely want to keep the ball. It will be up to us to adapt.”
Dupont was relieved not to face Toulouse teammate Willis
Dupont leads France in the clash of six nations at the Allianz Stadium, where he will try to kill the ambitions of the host title by completing a fourth consecutive victory in the appendix.
The best player in the world believes that the goal has become easier for England to choose only players from the champion, refusing access to those who like Joe Marchant, Henry Arundell and Willis.
Willis’s move to Toulouse in 2022 was a unconditional success and has been involved with the first 14 and double winners of the Champions Cup by 2029.
When asked about England overlooking their stars competing in France, Dupont said: “I am a little surprised, but I am very happy that I do not play against Jack. We know the nightmare in the Ruck area.
“Their rules are different from ours and they are so for now. I don’t think they will change it soon.”
