The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim won’t go on sale until May

Samsung has scheduled its Unpacked event on January 22, where we expect to see the Galaxy S25 series. The poster showed off four devices (or at least corners of them), and we assumed we’d see four new phones — the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and the all-new. Galaxy S25 Slim.
According to rumors from China, the latter will be postponed to May.
The new phone is expected to be just 6.5mm thin, but will be a large device that sits somewhere between the Plus and Ultra in terms of footprint. It will have a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of over 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The phone’s slimness means it will likely pack a new silicon-carbon battery that’s lighter but has a fairly large capacity – probably around 5,000mAh.

This is not the first time we hear about this Samsung is delaying the Slimand we’re still not sure if the cryptic message is about China; may not be true at all. We’ll have to wait until next Wednesday when we’ll learn more at the event.
