Ruben Amorim has warned Manchester United players and fans that they will continue to suffer until the end of the season.
United lose 3-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion it was their sixth Premier League home upset of the season and fourth under Amorim’s management.
The Portuguese manager pulled no punches in his post-match media duties, pointing to United’s current squad it may be the worst in the club’s 147-year history. Amorim’s honesty led him to admit United “need to be a different team” to make any progress, with the former Sporting CP boss admitting things have been too easy for a Brighton side now just four points adrift from the Premier Leagueof the first four.
