This robot vacuum cleaner has a robotic arm

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, which begins this week, Roborock, a Chinese manufacturer of robot vacuum cleaners and other home cleaning devices, has unveiled a new model of a robotic vacuum cleaner with a foldable robotic arm. It had already piqued my curiosity, but now i really want one.

The OmniGrip arm has five-axis movement and can lift objects under 300 grams, such as socks and dog toys. He marks the objects he can pick up while cleaning the floor and then turns back to pick them up when he’s done. Even the areas under the objects on his second pass – he is attentive to the details! The Saros 270 will go on sale later this year, but pricing is TBA.

On Instagram, their profiles also featured AI-generated posts that, like 404 Average noted, it looks a lot like the AI slop that fills the corners of the internet.
