We get our first look at Google Gemini on the Galaxy S25 in a leaked video

Samsung won’t go easy on AI this year. The Galaxy S25 series was supposed to be packed to the brim with AI features that we haven’t fully seen yet. Some are less familiar, such as the Google Twins on the Galaxy S25. A new promotional video has been leaked showing these AI enhancements and Google Twins in action.

Before the actual release and announcement Galaxy S25 seriesthe promotional trailer of the phone was leaked on the Internet (via Android Headlines). The video showcases a few things that Samsung wants to highlight on the device. You can probably guess that a lot of this has to do with AI.

In the first part of the video, we take a good look at it light blue Galaxy S25 Ultra option. It might not be in focus in this video, but the glow on the back of the phone looks pretty good! The phone itself displays a set of quick tiles at the bottom of the lock screen. Scrolling through these showcases reveals a “Morning Brief” button.

Morning Briefing is part of Samsung’s new AI briefing suite, which pulls information from selected apps that may be relevant to the user in the morning. If you’re wearing a Galaxy wearable, this includes weather and sleep data. This will certainly be a useful part of One UI 7 and will likely not be exclusive to Samsung’s newest devices.

The video showcases Google Gemini in our first look at Google’s AI model in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series. Activated by long-pressing the power button in the Messages app, Gemini appears in a small box that doesn’t carry the same UI design as Google’s own hardware. Samsung’s iteration is a simple box with a single shipping axis. The box gets the same glow to indicate it’s listening. Gemini is used to send a restaurant suggestion to a friend with a simple, verbose command.

Samsung continues its “nightography” ad. Night video in One UI 7 will be a better option for low-light videos, although it remains to be seen how well Samsung phones will perform in the photo department this year. This feature is similar to Google’s video push, but it can be useful sometimes inconvenient.

A silencer is also mentioned in the promo. The feature also uses artificial intelligence to detect certain sounds in your videos and allows the user to remove them for a cleaner clip. The demo shows AI-controllable sounds, music, wind and general noise categories.

The last few shots of the campaign showcase three flagship devices: the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. This is the most interesting leak we’ve seen so far, as it includes AI features that will affect other devices outside of the Galaxy S25 series, including the Google Gemini. Still, the Galaxy S25 will be ready to take full advantage of what One UI 7 has to offer.
