The final tie to finish the Saw defenders champions Real Madrid is compressing the past Atletico Madrid We would like to greatly thank VAR’s decision to consider Julian Alvarez kicked the ball twice when he took his sentence to Shoot-out.
Arsenal also went on to hit the PSV Eindhoven for seven on the first leg, while Barcelona, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the quarter-finals.
PSG takes Aston Villa, Barca meets Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid play Arsenal and the round tie sees Bayern Munich facing Italian champions Inter.
Here, we look back at standout performers in this round and choose our best xi.
Goalkeeper
Alisson (Liverpool)
He may feel unfortunate that he has left the competition, especially after the heroine of the first leg in Parc des princes. International Brazil has made nine savings as Arne Slot won 1-0 in Paris-more than one Liverpool goalkeeper in a Champions League game since Opta began recording the data in 2003-04. He was also impressive on the return, but he could do little as the PSG went on a penalty shoot -out.
Defense
Benjamin Pavard (Inter)
Pavard is a consistent interpreter for Inter and played an important role as Simone Inzaghi’s side fell on Feyenoord 4-1 in the inert. Playing on the right side of a rear three for Inter, slots in our team in a more common role on the right back.
Raul Asencio (Real Madrid)
The 22 -year -old started the season on the reserve side of Madrid, but has quickly developed in one of their key players. Taking into account his opportunity from a series of injuries, Asencio will now have a place in Carlo Ancelotti of the first Xi option. Extremely above the two legs against Atletico Madrid.
Jose Maria Gimenez (Atletico Madrid)
His team may have come out, but Uruguay’s defender Jimenez was a colossus against Madrid. Faced with a series of aggressive talent-Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo et al-the 30-year-old got handmade, draining Athleti’s backline.
Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain)
Much of the speech before the PSG tie with Liverpool focused on the battle between Oousmane Dembele and Mohamed Salah and would have the greatest impact. As it was, Salah was a regional figure in the two games, it was greatly scored by Portugal on the left behind Mendes.
Middle section
Marco Asensio (Aston Villa)
The Spanish midfielder has made a huge impact since he arrived at Villa Park for a loan from the PSG. Noted in the first leg against Club Brugge, extending the villa’s advantage to 3-1, and then with twice the return As unai Emery men relaxed.

The Portuguese’s light midfielder ran both legs against Liverpool. It was for the PSG node to dominate the first game and then gradually impose itself on Anfield, defending it when it needed, but also helping to start a series of controversy.
Martin Odegarard (Arsenal)
Odegaard was a delayed substitute against PSV Eindhoven in the second leg in the Emirates last night, but his work had already been done. The Danish midfielder was the key to a wonderful arsenal display in Philips Stadion last week, noting twice as the Gunners won 7-1 in the Netherlands.
Front
Rappinha (Barcelona)
Reinforced Ballon d’Or claims With two wonderful screens, as Barcelona defeated Benfica. The Brazilian player scored the only goal, as Barca won in Lisbon last week and then combined with Lamine Yamal as the Catalans won the second 3-1. He scored twice and was again Barca’s best player.

Ousmane Dembele (Paris Saint-Germain)
The France star appears back to the bright best. Liverpool’s backline was tortured in the first leg and remains a mystery how he and his teammates dragged a gap. Created for this, though with the only goal, as the PSG won the return to Anfield and supported it with a cool sentence on the shoot-out.
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
Kane was Bayer Leverkusen’s scourge with three goals on both legs, as Bayern won 5-0 in inert. He also created Alphonso Davies for his second side in Bayarena on Tuesday night with a wonderful pass. Kane has 10 goals in the Champions League of the season – more than one Englishman.
