Williams’ title hopes on the line: He has to beat Volny to secure Hearn’s Middleweight Plan

Supporter Eddie Hearn wants to place Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams for a title that shot at Middleweight, but has to win his headliner against Patrice Volny this Saturday, March 15th. Williams (17-1, 12 kos) and Volny (19-1, 13 kos) meet at the 12-Strogyl main event at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida. The event will appear Live in DAZN.

Hearn blames some of Williams’ less impressive performances for not having the perfect preparation. He is “indifferent” to the camp and is not fully “mentally” ready. His eleventh knockout loss in Hamzah Sheeraz last year may be what Hearn is talking about. In this fight, the ammunition was injured early, but failed to go for the dark. The loss in a HYP job, such as Sheeraz, was disappointing because it was a very profitable fight if the ammunition had put his foot on the accelerator.
Hearn’s vision
Volny, 35, can hit and hit his last three opponents. If Williams can’t get him out of there, he could risk stopping for a second time. This will spoil Hearn’s plans to get him a title shot, obviously, and may need to reconsider his career goals for him.
“The problems of ammunition in the past were not that they were not good enough. It was that his preparation was not good enough. Sometimes, he was not 100% mentally there. Sometimes his camps were a little indifferent,” Eddie Hearn said Boxing DaznTalking about Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams’ match against Patrice Volny this night on Saturday in Orlando, Florida.
Williams, 28, has lost only once in his six -year career, but did not face any assassins except Sheeraz, who is deeply wrong. The other 17 guys who have struggled ammunition were not names that most fans have never heard.
“This is one of the first moments that had a strong, decent camp. This is a harsh race. Volny is a big guy and he is a serious middleweight,” Hearn said. “He’s a good fighter. The story of Williams ammunition is quite incredible. I look back on his professional debut, and it was this young, stimulating kid. Then you go through the list everywhere that has a box and everything it has done. ”
Volny’s threat
Volny is a real big guy. Standing next to the ammunition, looked like a super middleweight. It is difficult to believe that he will make weight tomorrow because he looks huge. Williams appeared short and outrageous next to him.
“The fact that he is still here after all these issues and problems he had, but you have to measure it,” Hearn said of ammunition. “The stories are nice, but if you hit, there are only so much that you can do with a story. When you compare people with ammunition, it’s a rollercoaster ride. Let’s not turn it on to think it’s okay to lose. It’s never okay to lose.
There is only so much a supporter he can do, building a fighter on the story of the story of their lives. These things do not work with the fans if the fighter fails to win. They will not care about what a fighter has gone into their lives to get to where they are. If they do not win, fans will not disturb the attention.
You have to win a race
“The reality is, in this sport, if you are not good enough, you will not win. This is. If you are not good enough, you can look at yourself in the mirror. If you gave it everything, then you can go again,” Hearn said.
“You have a lot of quality fighters, but you have a lot of fighters who do not have a huge profile looking for opportunities against good names in exciting battles,” Hearn said when asked about the potential for Austin Williams in Middleweight, if he was a victorious against Volny on Saturday.
“You have the WBO champion (Janibek Alimkhanuly). I think he is going to go up at some point (in 168). You just saw (WBC champion) Carlos Adames beat Hamzah Sheeraz. He’s a good fighter, but don’t throw him. But he enters (41 years old).
“Listen. We want to roll the dice for the Middleweight World Championship with Ammo Williams, but it has to win on Saturday,” Hearn said.
